Ash & Kellie’s Rooftop Wedding

The first time I met with Kellie & Ash their excitement was palpable as we spoke of their upcoming wedding and their vision for their ceremony….they wanted an intimate, relaxed atmosphere; to be surrounded by those nearest and dearest to them. The had booked a hidden gem in Melbourne’s bayside, True South, for their ceremony and reception, boasting three distinct function spaces, the favoured being the upstairs Bay View Room, offering stunning views over Port Phillip Bay, with it’s large bi-fold doors connecting the inside and outside for their rooftop ceremony.
The big day finally arrived, and Kellie was escorted down the aisle with both her Mum and Dad to support her. It was clearly very special for the three of them, as they made their way toward Ash, who’s adoration for his wife-to-be was clear to all who had the pleasure of being present – it was a moment I will never forget.
Kellie and Ash are happiest when they are together – Kellie even saying that the best version of herself is when she is with Ash. This happy couple simply enjoy each others company and making time for one another – just the two of them. They share many interests, but as it often is, it’s the everyday things like spending time going for a walk or getting a coffee together that brings them the greatest of pleasures.
In celebrating their love and acknowledging their lifelong commitment to one another, Kellie and Ash exchanged heartfelt vows – wanting to share in each others dreams, and support one another as they strive to achieve their goals. They vowed not just to grow old together, but to grow together, to love one another faithfully through the difficult and the easy no matter what may come.
Before we knew it, I had the greatest pleasure in pronouncing them husband and wife! It was then time to complete the legal side of things with some signatures, whilst trying to keep the paperwork together as we competed with the wind that was whipping around us!
With Hall & Oates playing in the background with ‘You Make My Dreams Come True’, and being congratulated by family and friends, Kellie and Ash walked back down the aisle as husband and wife; the moment they had both dreamt of had finally become a reality – THIS is what true happiness looks like.
