Jesse & Jade’s Wedding at Yarra Valley Lodge
Jade & Jesse’s big day was held on the grounds of the Yarra Valley Lodge, with the picturesque natural landscape of the Yarra Ranges as the backdrop. Not forgetting the wooden letters L O V E that stood behind us made by the clever groom himself!
We reminded family and friends how their relationship began and those years prior, as young 16 year olds in 2006 meeting on MySpace (google it if you’re too young!) They started chatting and noticed that they had a lot in common and shared similar interests.
After a few months of talking and video calling almost on a daily basis, they decided it was time to meet in person. There was an instant connection between the two of them, and they’ve been inseparable ever since!
As Jade lived in the southern suburbs and Jesse in the north, it made catching up a little more difficult but somehow they always seemed to make it work. They spent ALOT of time on trains, buses and the telephone!!
Jade and Jesse wrote heartfelt marriage vows so beautiful they brought a tear to my eye! The connection they have and the deep love they feel for each other is undeniable, and was palpable as we all witnessed them declare their love for one another and their promises for the future.
And after 10 years of being a couple, I was thrilled that Jesse could call Jade his wife and Jade could finally call Jesse her husband, and they sealed their love with a spectacular kiss!
Having officially signed al the necessary legal paperwork, they proudly showed off their couples’ marriage certificate to all their family and friends!
They then came back together with their bridal party as I introduced them to their family and friends for the very first time as Mr and Mrs Unger! Jesse was pretty happy about that bit!
And he was even happier escorting his new bride back down the aisle, giving a positive ‘thumbs up’ to their guests, as they excitedly began a new chapter in their lives as husband and wife! Queue bubbles!!
