Chris & Kalista’s Bellarine Peninsula Wedding

Chris & Kalista wanted their day to be fun, relaxed, and also to reflect who they are and what they care about. Choosing the right venue was important to them both, so the award winning winery  Terindah Estate with it’s delectable food was the perfect choice.

The manicured lawns together with spectacular views across Port Phillip Bay was a stunning backdrop for their intimate ceremony. The stunning views were perfectly framed by the rustic wedding arbour in natural wood, styled beautifully with simple but sophisticated foliage.

Family and friends gathered from near and far to celebrate this very special occasion, and enjoyed listening to how the happy couple met, what they loved about each other and how they make a great team, describing themselves as yin and yang. We paid tribute to the other man in Kalista’s life – Rooney the dog – Chris fully aware of who was first on the scene, and acknowledged that he is still working his way up the ladder!

When it came to that all important moment for the happy couple to exchange their heartfelt wedding vows, Chris promised to, amongst other things,  make Kalista coffee in the morning and do all the little things that bring her happiness & laughter; Kalista made promises to Chris that included vowing to not just grow old together, but to grow together, and be his partner in all of life’s adventures.

Following their vows and ring exchange it was my greatest pleasure to pronounce them husband and wife and they sealed their vows with a kiss!

After making it official and having signed the last piece of paperwork,  the smiles of pure joy say it all –  we are finally husband and wife!

After the ceremony they enjoyed spending time with their guests on the top floor of the architecturally designed balcony, whilst enjoying canapés and drinks.

Getting to know Chris and Kalista was such a pleasure; an extremely loving and happy couple, I had so much fun helping them create the wedding ceremony they envisaged.

Thank you to Chris & Kalista for sharing their special day and to Patrick from DUUET Wedding Photography for capturing amazing moments from such a wonderful occasion.
